The Colombo Business Association is a non-profit Premier Business Association base in the City of Colombo with a member base over the Sri Lanka, who Trading Associations, Chambers, Committees, Councils, Import & export Business owners other interested parties. CBA works to enhance and improve business Environment, advocacy for our affiliated Trade Associations and members in addressing business related issues with legislators and Policy makers of Government of Sri Lanka and Diplomatic officers of other countries and Protecting the rights of businessman’s, and assisting businesses to improve their sales and profits by providing training and assistance with development and welfare of members
CBA was founded as the Premier Business Association. In 2019 the association expanded to allow over the Sri Lanka by affiliating participation with other Associations. That our other affiliated association is mix of all the industries and wide different business associations consist of products and service sectors.
Our management team consists of the board of directors and executive committee from all affiliated associations working closely with the board of directors. In addition, a professional HONOURABLE PATRONS keep us apprised of legislative activities and to help us affect desired outcomes. Ultimately the work will be divided among committees and the board of directors and the Association management team.
CBA provides a variety of services to member businesses and Associations including the scheduling and coordination of number of activities and events. These include monthly meetings for information sharing with other Associations, trade shows, Training programs, information sharing with other industries and business, conference and seminars, Trade Agreements, Entertainment programs, Discount programs and annual Awards section.
In addition, we provide services to businesses and industries that include professional lobbyist services to represent our members with government agencies, foreign business associations, communications in the form of a monthly and regular meetings with government offices as well as special bulletins and group benefits such as coordinating our members' dealings with hotels, insurance companies, supermarkets and distributors for rates and discounts.
Among the services planned for the future are: a group insurance medical plan for all members, a group buying plan, bringing the CBA members onto the Internet for consumer sales and inter-member product distribution, a permanent education facility, and the development of a business identification Card with Government of Sri Lanka.
